drypoint with aluminium

i absolutely love everything about this print process. its great wen you roll it out if the printing process and peal back the paper to reveal a beautiful print.
the first two of the little mouse portrait are my favourite ones.

objectives
  • i have a large sheet of aluminium. i would like to do a large drypoint of a pest portrait. i could maybe do a raccoon or a fox, badger, possum or rabbit. either way something that is on a more life-size scale.
  • i also have some little scraps of aluminium left. these would be great to do little portraits of the littler pests; rats, moles, squirrels.
  • i would like to do some more lino prints as-well so i need to prepare some more lino. two of my favourite methods of print are lino and drypoit so i would like to do lots more of these.
